The first Travel UN: Middle East study trip, which also became the first study trip since the pandemic 2020-2021, was successfully held in Israel from 12-20 of November 2022.
During the programme participants had a unique opportunity to feel themselves as students of Tel Aviv University, dive into history of the Arab-Israeli conflict, see its current status with distinguished professors and invited specialists and of course visit the UN headquarters!

Let's see how it was
- Lots of lectures on the topic, a joint colloquium with actual students and SDGs case-study at the Tel Aviv University
- Meetings with acting politicians
- Visits to the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) headquarters in Jerusalem
- Meetings with representatives of UNTSO, The office of the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (UNSCO), UNDP, UNESCO, UNICEF, World Food Programme (WFP), UN Women. We've learned about different aspects and difficulties of work in the region, heard stories of success from UN specialists and of course asked a lot of questions!
Upon completion of the programme all participants got 2 certificates from Travel UN project and Tel Aviv University, shared their impressions and went to the evaluation party!
